• Charltons supply featheredge boards in volume to national fencing stockists and offer machined (morticed, recessed and v-notched) posts to allow for professional installation.

• Palisade or picket fencing as it is sometimes known is available in planed (ready for painting) or sawn finish, with pointed or round top pales. Palisade is often used around cottage style gardens but is also commonly used around children’s play areas.

• Windstay fencing is also available and is most commonly located in windy locations. The gaps in the pales allows wind to pass through the fence rather than forming a complete barrier (and therefore in danger of blowing down in strong winds).

• Matching gates are also available to suit featheredge, palisade and Windstay fencing.

• Posts & Rail fencing is commonly used in agricultural locations and is commonly called ‘stock fencing’. Posts can be supplied morticed if desired. Hunting gates are always seen around the country with Post & Rail fencing.
